This Hospital in the Panhandle area of Florida provides a 24-hour Emergency Department that includes the region’s only comprehensive Trauma Center that is staffed and equipped to handle life-threatening injuries in adults and children. Hospital is designated by the State of Florida as a Pediatric Trauma Referral Center and a Level II Trauma Center for adults. In 2000, the Emergency/Trauma Center was renovated and expanded. We now have state-of-the art equipment and treat more than 90,000 patient visits per year. Our Trauma Team is led by trauma surgeons who coordinate care with other specialists, including neurosurgeons and orthopedic surgeons.
The ideal candidate will be Board-Certified in General Surgery and will have successfully completed a Trauma/Critical Care Fellowship.
