OUTPATIENT INTERVENTIONAL PHYSIATRIST NEED IN SC!!!

BC/BE interventional physiatrist for 100% outpatient position(spine experience or training preferred but for the right person they may be willing to train). This is a M-F position with no weekend office hours. No hospital coverage required. The existing practice is very busy and the incoming physician will be expected to not only see new evals from existing referrals, but to create new referral sources, if partnership/shareholder status is desired. For the right physician, partnership/shareholder tract is available after one year, but usually considered after 2 years. Responsibilities include new patient evals, follow-ups, EMG/NCS testing (with a NCS tech being trained), and interventional procedures. There is marketing involved with the position, including physician office breakfasts/lunches as well as marketing for worker’s compensation. The patient population is mixed from a payor standpoint as well as type including acute to sub-acute(our focus), but also on some chronic pain to keep our referral sources happy. We also do FCE’s as well as are starting in office rehab for our patients. Salary is between $175k – $250k doe benefits are also included.
