NC UNIVERSITY SEEKS GYN ONC CHIEF!!!

The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at a premier University and School of Medicine is seeking a Chief of Gynecology Oncology and a Gynecologic Oncologist. The successful candidate must be BC/BE in OBGYN and eligible for or currently hold a certificate of special competence in Gynecologic Oncology from the American Board of OBGYN. The division is clinically active; GOG affiliated, and supports investigator-specific trials. These positions will be at the Assistant, Associate, or Professor level. The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology’s annual clinical volumes include approximately 3,200 deliveries, 600-650 maternal transports, 200-250 new cases of cancer, and an in-vitro fertilization program that performs 80-100 cycles. The Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency Program is composed of twenty residents and the Medical Student Clerkship program is composed of an average of twelve students on a six week rotation. Approximately ten percent of the graduating medical students enter Obstetrics and Gynecology Residencies. The Cancer Center provides the full spectrum of support for a busy Gynecologic Oncology practice: Surgical Oncology, Radiation Oncology with Gamma and Cyber Knife, Medical Oncology and a fully staffed clinical trials office and tissue bank.
