Large health system and Hospital looking to add a Neurologist to their employed group and system in a new office on campus of the hospital in the city of Knoxville, TN.

This will be a General Neurology opportunity, night and weekend call will be 1:7, shared with our established Neuro Hospitalist team as well as another private group affiliated with the Medical Center . You will be employed with an excellent starting salary, full and expansive benefit package, and you would be employed by the most stable system in the area. An academic component to your practice is available as our Medicine residents round the Neuroscience center on rotation, but it is not required. We are also growing our Neuro Oncology program, so a Neurologist with an interest in Oncology would also be welcome to apply.  Referrals abound from our large Primary Care and Specialty base of physicians throughout the city and suburbs.

The Neuroscience Center is the only Neurology sub-specialty center of its kind in the region. The Center offers a complete spectrum of care for degenerative neurological diseases, such as Alzheimer’s DiseaseDementiaMovement Disorders, Parkinson’s DiseaseMultiple SclerosisMuscular Dystrophy, Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis,  Epilepsy and Stroke. Our large neurosurgery group – soon to be 10 – is very supportive and has great collaboration with the Cancer Institute
