Child Abuse Pediatrician - Beautiful NC

The Southern Regional Area Health Education Center (SR-AHEC) in Eastern NC is recruiting a BC/BE Child Abuse Pediatrician to fill a full-time faculty position. This individual would be the Medical Director of a regional child abuse evaluation center affiliated with the NC Child Medical Evaluation Program and Physicians and PNP. Outpatient and inpatient evaluations are done for Child Abuse and Neglect. Active participation at local Child Advocacy Center and with Community Child Fatality review encouraged. This individual would also be the Medical Director of the SR-AHEC Specialty Medicine Center and have an opportunity to teach in SR-AHEC Family Medicine Residency.

A Board Certified or Eligible Child Abuse Pediatrician is preferred for this position. A Board Certified General Pediatrician with strong clinical skills and a desire to get intensive training in Child Abuse Pediatrics will be considered.
