Assistant director of ED need in SC live in Charleston, SC or Columbia, SC!!

Come join this well run dynamic group of ED physicians.  Employed by the hospital this group has a solid team of physicians and find themselves looking to add an assistant director.  Someone with the business and administrative background suited to handle many of the assistant director responsibilities.  EM residency trained and a desire to be involved in the day to day operational functions of the ED.  Compensation will be at least $150/hour plus a stipend.  This position offers comprehensive  benefits with Malpractice Insurance(including tail), CME Allowance of 4k, Sign-on Bonus(10k)  and Loan repayment(50k).   Alternating Shifts (day, evenings and nights) 12, 10 and 8 hour shifts.

 

This is a hospital employed position at a level III trauma center(functions as a level II  Always two (2) ER physicians on staff at one time therefore, you’re never solo in the ER.   80 plus total hours of coverage including NP and Nurses - 3 to 1 Nurse to Patient in Trauma Area.   24/7 Telemetry, 60,000 visits per year, 160/patients per day estimate.   ER consists of 14 physicians adding additional physician based on need.  60 Bed ER Unit with Fast Track, Trauma and Acute Care beds, Psychiatric Center, HBO Chamber -  all EM trained staff.

 

Bonus program is second to none - 3 different programs in place and the potential is there to earn an additional $30-$50/hr.  Total compensation with the hourly should average from $180-$200/hr plus all the benefits  including sign on bonus and loans and the assistant directorship stipend.  Must be EM trained.

 

Flexible on living requirements Columbia, SC is approximately half an hour’s drive and Charleston is 45minutes -1 hr.
