INVASIVE NON-INTERVENTIONAL CARD NEED IN NORTHERN NEVADA!!!

This New position is now available!!  It is an Invasive Non-Interventional position.  Currently our existing Cardiologist is doing Diagnostic Cath Work (250 last year), Stress, EEE’s, Nuclear Med Stress approx 300-400/year and Diagnostic Ultra Sounds = 3450/year that is not cardiac related. Echos are about 900-1000/year.  A total of 91 patients arrived in the ER in 2009 with a primary diagnosis of AMI Anterolateral; AMI Inferolateral: AMI Inferopost, AMI inferior wall, AMI Subendo Infarct, and AMI NOS;While there is an Interventional lab on-site and nuclear equipment, we do not surgical back up.  They are not certified in Nuclear Med or Echo and do not do any Electrophysiology. Take Call on your patients and then a maximum call schedule requirement for unassigned call of 10 days a month. There are two options for Cardiology in this area: (1) Private Practice with Income Guarantee, (2) Employment with the Hospital.
